Windermere Child and Family Services
Windermere's reports are fully interactive digital experiences — published as live web pages rather than PDFs, with scrolling sections, hero banners, data visualisations, case studies, and program summaries. I designed and built every report from the ground up: custom HTML and CSS, images, layout, and mobile responsiveness, all produced and published in-house.
Across seven reports over several years, I developed and refined a reusable full-page website template that could be adapted to different programs and audiences — from the organisation's flagship annual impact reports through to program-specific achievement reports for government-funded initiatives.
Each report sat at the intersection of editorial design, web production, and content strategy. Content arrived late, data needed translating into engaging visual formats, and every report had to be fast, accessible, and polished across all screen sizes — with no external developer support.
I handled everything: layout design, image production, writing HTML and CSS, mobile responsiveness, and publishing through Umbraco. For the achievement reports, the template also needed to flex across very different program contexts — from a children's services initiative in Cranbourne to an emergency bushfire recovery program spanning four local government areas.

The first report in the series, produced during an ongoing COVID environment. Covered bushfire recovery programs, disability services growth, family violence support, and the launch of the Welcoming & Inclusion Strategy. Featured the strategic plan themes as navigable sections, each with custom graphics and animated data visualisations.
View live reportThe second edition built on the established design system while introducing refinements to the infographic style and case study layout. Covered Windermere's expanding disability services, early childhood, and family violence programs as services returned to full capacity post-pandemic.
View live reportThe third report marked the final year of Windermere's 2020–23 Strategic Plan, requiring a visual wrap-up of three years of strategic themes. Design matured further with stronger data-led section openers and a refined hero banner visual system.
View live reportThe fourth and most recent report launched Windermere's new 2023–26 Strategic Plan with four refreshed themes. Covered storm disaster response, NDIS challenges, office refurbishment, and a digital transformation investment strategy. A new visual language was introduced to reflect the updated strategic direction while maintaining continuity with previous years.
View live reportIn parallel with the annual reports, I designed and built a reusable full-page website template for Windermere's program-specific achievement reports. These reports document the outcomes of government-funded programs and are published as standalone web experiences — not PDFs — allowing stakeholders and funders to engage with findings in a more accessible, shareable format.
Each report was built from the ground up: custom HTML, CSS, images, and layout produced in-house and published through Umbraco. The template was designed to be flexible enough to accommodate very different programs and audiences while maintaining a consistent, professional standard aligned to the Windermere brand.
