Overview

Healthy Living is a nutritionist practice built around the belief that food can be a primary tool in supporting children and adults living with ADHD and autism. Their approach is evidence-informed, compassionate, and highly personalised — and they needed a brand and digital presence that reflected all of that. I worked with them during my freelance period, delivering a complete suite of brand, web, print, and digital publishing work.

This project required a careful balance — the visual language needed to feel credible enough for a health and nutrition practice, while being warm and accessible to families who are often overwhelmed and looking for clear, reassuring guidance. Getting that tone right was central to every design decision.

Brand Identity

I developed the full brand identity for Healthy Living from scratch — logo, colour palette, typography, and the visual language that would carry across every touchpoint. The brief called for something that felt clean and professional without being clinical, and warm without being childish. The resulting identity used organic, natural tones balanced with clean typography communicating both nutritional expertise and genuine human care.

The brand system was designed to be applied consistently across all contexts, from website through to printed handouts and eBook covers, ensuring a cohesive and trustworthy presence across every client interaction.

Website UI/UX Design

The website was the primary touchpoint for prospective clients — often parents researching options for their child's health needs. The design prioritised clarity and ease of navigation, with a warm and reassuring visual tone that made it easy for visitors to understand the Healthy Living approach and take the next step toward a consultation.

eBook and Publication Design

I designed publications for Healthy Living that formed a key part of their client resource library — used both as lead magnets and as companion materials for their consultation programs. Each publication communicated complex nutritional information in a way that was approachable and easy to read for a non-specialist audience, particularly parents. The book cover design went on to win an Independent Publisher Book Award Gold Medal for Most Progressive Health Book.

Print Materials

Alongside the digital work, I designed a range of print materials — resources used in consultations and distributed to clients as part of their programs. Print pieces were designed to be consistent with the digital brand while being optimised for physical formats, ensuring the Healthy Living visual identity was cohesive whether a client was browsing the website or reading a handout at home.
